The work is self-regulating, turning off upon reaching a temperature of 38°C, turning on again after cooling down to 36.5°C. These are the temperatures of the body, whose limits are bound to the visibility of the image. 

The slides contain found images of fireworks taken during the opening ceremony of the Beijing Summer Olympics in 2008.
